Inductive Sorter— The High-Value Metal Recovery Hub at the End of the Line

Range: Sorting size: 5mm – 120mm

Application: ELV recycling plants, mixed metal recycling plants, aluminum recycling plants, motor recycling plants, ASR recovery plants

The inductive sorter is an advanced automated system based on high-sensitivity electromagnetic detection, capable of identifying and separating conductive metals such as copper, aluminum, zinc, lead, stainless steel, and alloys.Installed typically after the eddy current separator, it functions as the final recovery unit, capturing residual metals that upstream processes fail to recover.

From a system engineering perspective, its value lies in:

Maximizing recovery rate: capturing the last 2–5% of high-value metals

Improving purity: removing contaminants to upgrade material quality

Releasing upstream capacity: reducing dependency on perfect shredding and increasing system tolerance

The system also allows future upgrades with AI vision or X-ray (XRT), evolving from “metal detection” to “material identification.”

Belt width: 1200mm – 2400mm

Sorting size: 5mm – 120mm

Detection resolution: 12.5mm / 25mm

Belt speed: 1.5m/s – 3.0m/s
