The SIMVIC trommel screen is a core unit within the plant’s size classification system, designed for continuous sizing of pre-processed or shredded materials. Its value lies not only in screening, but in establishing a stable and predictable material flow through precise size control.In metal recycling processes, particle size distribution directly affects the efficiency of downstream separation systems. By removing fines and oversized materials, the trommel screen ensures more uniform feed into magnetic, eddy current, and sensor-based separation systems, improving sorting accuracy and recovery purity.
