Flip-Flow Screen — The Core Node for Deep Pre-Reduction Before Fine Classification
Range: Capacity: 2 – 20 t/h
Application: Mixed metal recycling plants, ELV recycling facilities, ASR recovery plants, scrap motor recycling plants (pre-treatment before fine classification and sensor-based sorting)
The Flip-Flow Screen is a key unit within SIMVIC’s particle size classification system, designed for fine processing of small-sized and difficult-to-screen materials. It is typically used to further classify materials (e.g., 0–25 mm from trommel output into 0–6 mm and 6–25 mm fractions). In plant layout, it is positioned upstream of fine classification or advanced sorting systems (such as optical and sensor-based sorting), serving as a critical “pre-cleaning and pre-classification” node.
From a system engineering perspective, the machine utilizes high-acceleration dynamic screening to effectively remove fines, dust, and inert fractions. This transforms the downstream feed into a “high-value input stream,” significantly improving sorting efficiency and metal recovery rates. At the same time, it reduces contamination risks for sensitive downstream equipment, such as optical sorters, by minimizing dust interference.
Its self-cleaning capability ensures continuous operation without screen clogging, stabilizing the entire process flow under complex feed conditions. This makes it a critical enabler of SIMVIC’s high-efficiency, high-stability turnkey plant solutions.

High-acceleration anti-clog dynamic screening
1. High-acceleration self-cleaning screening (30g–50g)
Localized high acceleration continuously cleans the screen surface, preventing clogging and ensuring uninterrupted operation, reducing system downtime risks.
2. Elastic polyurethane dynamic screen panels
Repeated stretching and relaxation create dynamic screening conditions, significantly improving fine particle separation while reducing wear and maintenance frequency.
3. Dual-mass near-resonance design
Enhances energy efficiency, delivering high screening intensity with lower energy consumption while maintaining stable vibration performance for smooth plant operation.
4. Deep pre-reduction and feed upgrading
Removes large amounts of inert fines and dust before sorting, increasing metal concentration in feed streams and improving downstream processing efficiency and profitability.
5. Downstream protection and system synergy
Minimizes dust and fines entering optical and sensor-based equipment, reducing contamination and mis-sorting risks, extending equipment lifespan, and optimizing overall system performance.
