The inclined scrap shear is a key unit within the SIMVIC PrepCore™ system, designed for processing long, heavy, and irregular scrap such as pipes, H-beams, and structural steel. Through coordinated compression and cutting, it performs controlled size reduction and conditioning of complex materials.Within the process chain, it plays a critical role in feed standardization and size control. By cutting long materials into manageable lengths, it prevents bridging and entanglement, ensuring smooth material flow. At the same time, its compression system reduces material volume, improving transport efficiency and lowering logistics costs.After processing, materials enter the shredding stage with more uniform size and stable feeding conditions, reducing impact loads on downstream equipment and improving shredding efficiency and metal liberation. This ultimately enhances separation accuracy and recovery rates, making it a key entry control unit for stable plant operation.
